Birmingham's Original Steakhouse Since 1951 Michael's originated in 1951 in the Holiday Inn located in Bessemer, Alabama. In 1958, it relocated to 20th street in downtown Birmingham. Michael's became known as Birmingham's Original Steakhouse, and served many of the Nation's famous including Bear Bryant and Bob Hope, just to name a few.

Michael's offers on-site party planning, as well as catering. They have Private dining Rooms available at each location, and at our Riverchase Galleria location we are capable of doing Presentations, as well as wireless internet. Both of these rooms are perfect for Rehearsal dinners, Birthday parties, or business presentations.
